Who's behind it
I built what I needed myself
Hi, I'm Tomáš. I've been a programmer for many years and I take photos — as an amateur, for fun. When I shot several jobs for one client, each one meant another link they had to save somewhere and later dig up. Messy for them and for me. So I built a tool where a client has all their galleries in one place — and you just share a single link. And when you need something, you write to me directly.

Frequently asked questions
Does the client need to register?
No. They click the link, enter their name, and they're in.
Can I try PiTrio for free?
Yes. The Free plan is free forever and doesn't require a credit card.
How secure are the photos and where are they stored?
Photos are stored in a private cloud (Cloudflare R2) in data centres within the European Union and shared only via temporary secure links. Personal data is processed under GDPR. You can disable any gallery anytime, and on the Pro plan also lock it with a password.
Who owns the uploaded photos?
You do — or the respective copyright holder; uploading to PiTrio changes nothing about ownership. The service only gets a limited license to store and display the photos so it can work, and the license ends when you delete the photos or cancel your account. Details are in the Terms of Service.
Can I brand the gallery?
Yes. From the Basic plan you can upload your logo and set your brand colour so the gallery looks like yours.
In what quality can the client download photos?
When downloading the ZIP, the client chooses the quality — preview, medium, or original. Available from the Basic plan.
Can I disable downloads until the client pays for the job?
Yes. Downloads can be turned on and off per gallery, anytime. From the Basic plan you can also protect the gallery with a watermark made from your logo — the client browses and selects watermarked photos and gets the clean originals once you allow downloads.
Can I archive a gallery?
Yes. A finished gallery you no longer want live can be marked as archived — it stops being accessible to clients via the share link, while the gallery and photos stay safely stored. You can switch it back to active anytime with one click.
Can I cancel the subscription anytime?
Of course. You can cancel anytime and it will run until the end of the paid period.
What happens to my photos if I cancel or downgrade to Free?
Nothing gets deleted. Galleries, photos and shared links keep working — only paid features pause (ZIP downloads, watermark, password, photo selection) and new uploads follow the Free plan limits. Only you can delete your photos.
What does the client actually see?
They open the link and get a clean gallery with all the photos — they can browse, zoom in, heart their favourites, or leave a comment. No sign-up, no app to install — all they need is a modern browser.
What devices does the gallery work on?
Any modern browser — on iPhone and Android, Mac and Windows. The gallery is a regular web page: your client installs nothing, they just open the link.
What's the difference between favourites and photo selection?
Favourites (hearts) and comments are quick feedback — the client uses them to say what they like, and they work on every plan. Photo selection is a confirmed list: the client picks photos, submits them, and you get the list in the app, ready to download as a ZIP. Selection is available from the Basic plan.
What formats and file sizes can I upload?
JPEG and HEIC, up to 50 MB per file. Web previews are generated automatically, and the client can download the original file too.
Is the Free plan enough to get started?
For testing, yes — the 50-photo limit per gallery is great for trying things out. For real client deliveries I recommend Basic: it unlocks client photo selection, ZIP downloads, your own logo, and unlimited photos per gallery.
Are all features included in the plan price, or are there hidden fees?
Everything is included in the plan price — no transaction, per-download or per-gallery fees. Just one flat monthly rate.
Can I pay yearly?
Not yet — the subscription is monthly, with no commitment. You only pay for the months you need and can cancel anytime.
Is PiTrio a Czech service?
Yes. PiTrio is built and run by one person — a Czech developer and photographer. Prices are in Czech crowns and support is in Czech.
Why is PiTrio called PiTrio?
The Trio in the name is the three steps every job takes in the app: create a gallery, upload your photos, and send your client a link. Nothing more to learn.
